A Voyage To Explore The Philippines, One Smile At A Time...
What started as a simple idea, has turned into one of the most ambitious sailing projects ever attempted in the Philippines:
A solo Hobie 16 catamaran voyage running the length of the Philippine archipelago from Pagudpud town, Luzon Island in the North to General Santos City, Mindanao Island in the South.
Journeying over 3,700km (2,300mi), the voyage will sail down along the wild west coast of Luzon, through the mystical lagoons of Palawan, navigate the vibrant shores of Visayas, and explore the remote eastern edge of southern Mindanao.
Each leg of the voyage sailed, not motored, in harmony with Mother Nature.
Every landfall sharing a story.
Each wave moves us closer—not just to the next island, but to something deeper.

Philippine Hobie Sailing Adventure is more then a challenge. It is a celebration of the Filipino spirit, the beauty of its 7,641 islands, and the people that call them home.
It is a Mabuhay to the seafaring soul that lives on in every community along its coasts.
This project is a celebration of the Philippines from the bustling shores, to the solitude of the many seas that weave its vast archipelago together.
It is an invitation for people to discover and others to reconnect with the beauty of the Philippines.
Adrian is an Academy Award nominated documentary filmmaker, entrepreneur, global traveler (140+ countries, 6 continents), an avid sailor since he was a child learning on a Hobie 16, and an all around curious adventurer.
Adrian started his adventures exploring the Philippines, during the pandemic lockdown on Boracay island.
Between kiteboarding seasons, Adrian began SUP paddling. First along the famous White Beach, but soon around the entire Boracay island, and then paddling over to neighboring islands of Panay, Carabao, and beyond to Tablas island. These solo paddles would take up to 8 hours traveling over 40km.
When the pandemic restrictions were lifted, Adrian bought a used Honda Click 125 scooter and continued exploring the beautiful Philippines on two wheels.
After 3 months and more then 30,000km traveling solo around the Philippines on a scooter,
Adrian is now embarking on perhaps the most challenging and could be said most appropriate adventure exploring the Philippines,
solo sailing the length of the Philippine archipelago on a Hobie 16 catamaran.
Any challenge, especially one this ambitious, is never a solo endeavor.
Adrian is excited to collaborate with the great team of people, companies and organizations that have come together to make this record setting adventure a reality.
The Philippine Hobie Adventure is excited to grow the team.
